Hello everyone 👋
I've finally got round to writing a blog post all about my first ever workshop that happened in March...
I had the absolute pleasure of being asked by the lovely girls at @Sneakersisterhood if I wanted to hold a punch needle workshop to celebrate their 5th year anniversary, of course I said yes (as nerve racking as it was). However now that I'm at the other side of the event I can say it was so worth the nerves and any doubts I had in myself.
Like the title says this was my first ever punch needle workshop, I've posted a lot of videos online with help and helped people through my TikTok lives but that's all behind camera and most of the time you can't even see me. But in doing these videos and lives it helped bring the confidence I needed to be able to stand in front of people and teach in person. Especially as that was going to be a whole 20 people!
The workshop was to create little punch needle patches that would then be attached to a pair of Converse, the designs chosen were all representative of the brands involved in the event (SSH Offspring and Converse). There were plenty of colour options available for the girls to pick and choose from.
Even though I may have missed out so many important tips and tricks during my tutorial stage (nerves are to blame) everyone still managed to go home with at least 1 punch needle piece, which is amazing.
I've said it before on my socials and I'll say it here now.
During the workshop there were so many smiles and laughter, it was a great feeling. Being creative is all about having fun and experimenting and this workshop really highlighted that. It was amazing to share my knowledge with others and for them to have created something with their own hands.
I didn't get any photos during the workshop so I will link the blog post from Offspring as there are some amazing photos of the workshop by @iyeshacb Blog post is linked HERE
And below are some of the photos I actually took...

You did so well! I hope more amazing opportunities like this come your way 🥰
